• Field area: 8,000 m².
• Seed quantity: 40,000 plants/ha.
• Fertilization time: 25 days after planting (combined with hilling).
• Fertilization amount: 500 kg/ha.
• Growth period: 85 - 95 days.
• Implementation date: 14/03/2024, completion date: 04/05/2024.

The demonstration aims to compare the effectiveness of NPK 20-20-15+0.1Zn+0.1B Complex fertilizer for cabbage with the control fertilizer.

Results of applying NPK 20-20-15+0.1Zn+0.1B Complex fertilizer

After the fertilization and hilling stage with NPK 20-20-15+0.1Zn+0.1B Complex fertilizer, Baconco received positive results indicated by effective plant development signs: cabbages grew healthier, leaves became thicker, leaf angles became sharper, and plants grew taller within just 15 days.

Additionally, we observed effective outcomes throughout the cabbage growth process, such as:

• More uniform cabbage growth.
• Tighter head formation.

By using 500kg of NPK 20-20-15+0.1Zn+0.1B Complex fertilizer 25 days after planting, Mr. Hoai's cabbage field increased its yield by 2.9 tons/ha, reaching 60.1 tons/ha. At the current price of 6,000 VND/kg, Mr. Hoai earned 360,600,000 VND. In comparison, the control field, using the same amount of 500 kg/ha of fertilizer, only achieved a yield of 57.2 tons/ha, earning 343,200,000 VND.

Although the investment cost for using NPK 20-20-15+0.1Zn+0.1B Complex fertilizer increased by 1,625,000 VND/ha, this is negligible. Using Baconco fertilizer for the cabbage field helped increase the farmer's profit by 15,775,000 VND/ha, 5.18 times higher than the additional profit from the control field.
